FOGSI and PSI have come together to conduct this survey on Knowledge, Attitudes and Practices of OBGYNs in India towards providing contraceptive choices to Indian women. This survey will specifically study the approach of OBGYNs towards Intra Uterine Contraceptive Devices (IUCD) and attempts to find out if any knowledge gaps need to be addressed in prescribing the use of IUCDs in your patients.
The results of this survey will help FOGSI and PSI formulate policy decisions and guidelines to better the use of contraception in Indian women. The results of this survey will also be correlated with a multi centric trial that is being initiated to study the effect of “Post Placental Insertion of IUD".
